The Okuma Safyre is engineered for reliable performance in both fresh and saltwater environments. Oversized HDG+ high-density gearing and a machine-cut brass pinion deliver increased torque and durability, while the Flite Drive System and Gear Stabilizing System ensure smooth, stable operation. A multi-disc Carbonite drag provides consistent stopping power, supported by a 7BB + 1RB stainless-steel bearing system for added smoothness and corrosion resistance. The Hydro Block II body offers IPX-3 splash protection, and the Cyclonic Flow Rotor reduces moisture retention to extend reel life. Finished with a rigid machined aluminium handle with power knob and two-tone anodized spool, the Safyre is available in 3000, 4000, and 5000 sizes with a 6.2:1 retrieve ratio.
