BERKLEY LIGHTNING SHOCK

The Berkley Lightning Shock Casting Rod was created with today's anglers in mind. Anglers have increasingly turned to braided superliners when targeting bass and other species. As a result, the rod is equipped with a shock-absorbing tip that is engineered to accommodate the lack of stretch and extreme strength of a braided line, something with which traditional rods often struggle. Its tip delivers the power and strength necessary for heavyweight fights and steering big fish away from trouble with less chance of yanking hooks out of the fish's mouth, bent or worn guides, or even breaking the rod. The Shock offshore fishing pole employs stainless-steel guides with Titanium Oxide inserts for increased durability and reduced friction. The guide frames sit closer to the rod bank to resist twisting and bending under extreme loads, while also decreasing the likelihood of wind knots and other line management issues. The rod features an ergonomic handle design with a textured rubber for a better, more comfortable grip and increased leverage.
