The Maxima Fluorocarbon Leader is a high quality fluorocarbon leader line comprised of a special polymer structure that exhibits incredible strength and sensitivity. The fluorocarbon leader line, from Maxima, is suitable for use in both fresh and saltwater and most commonly tied to a heavier main line serving to increase a presentations stealthiness. As is the case with all Maxima line, this line features their tough outer finish that increases durability, knot strength and abrasion resistance. Anglers have found a wide variety of uses for this leader material include fly fishing leader and tippets as well as the traditional main line to leader approach. This line is an excellent choice when trying to be more stealthy as it virtually disappears underwater - this is especially important for leader lines due to their proximity to the bait or lure the angler is presenting.
